Just down the street is a section of Hollywood - the seven thousand block of Sunset Boulevard - known as "Guitar Row." Here you will find the Hollywood "Rock Walk" - no stars in the sidewalk, just the "Hall of Fame" wall with some memorial plaques and, instead of the footprints of the celebrities in the sidewalk, the handprints of rock legends. And the whole area is filled with guitar shops and lots of music industry operations, and some very odd storefronts. Photos from late morning, Wednesday, October 12 - some will make no sense if you don't follow this part of the entertainment industry, but these will give you a good general sense of the heart of Hollywood.
